Precision laser cleaning
Laser for removing rust and contamination Grawostar Laser Cleaner CL200G is a modern device that allows removing rust from metal objects and other types of contamination.
Grawostar Laser Cleaner CL200G is a response to the challenge of the market requiring precise and inexpensive devices while maintaining their high quality.
Various laser configurations allow for the selection of the device according to the customer’s requirements, and different types of laser sources offer the removal of contamination according to the industry in which the laser will be used.
Contamination is removed by hitting the cleaned object with a laser beam. At the point of contact, energy is generated and oxides formed on the surface of the metal or other surfaces cleaned with the laser quickly evaporate.
Appropriate adjustment of the laser frequency, source characteristics, and head parameters allows for the removal of various contaminants in a non-contact manner.
One of the greatest advantages of laser technology is the avoidance of mechanical damage to the cleaned surface.
How a laser focuses a beam of light
The laser focuses the beam using a lens or a complex arrangement of lenses. They focus the laser light onto a single point or plane. These lenses can be arranged in different configurations to achieve different sizes and shapes of “spot”. The lens arrangement may also use a diaphragm or other optical elements to control the shape and size of the beam.
Gauss is like glass blasting
Grawostar Laser Cleaner CL200G has the “G” characteristic, thanks to which it offers fast surface treatment in a form similar to micro-glass blasting (point impact <0.14 mm) and, most importantly, does not use consumables.
Therefore, using the device is inexpensive and from the financial side is almost exclusively related to its purchase.
Cleaning lasers are used wherever metal processing and fast, very precise rust removal is required. They are also used where paints, grease, and pieces of plastic are removed.
Grawostar Laser Cleaner CL200G also cleans stone. Using this laser is a modern form of refreshing sandstone. In the case of providing services using a laser, structures can be renovated without the need to dismantle and transport them (fireplaces, sculptures, stone blocks).
Rust-cleaning lasers are the future of metal processing before painting. The quality of the obtained clean surface is close to ideal, and the speed of the process is incredibly high. The laser cleans metals better than other methods, such as sandblasting, glass blasting, and grinding – especially where cleanliness is required when removing paint or other contaminants.
Economical solution
A modern, ergonomic, and durable gun and a long optical fiber, with a length that can be adjusted to your expectations. It allows you to bring the device wherever sandblasting devices cannot be placed.
In a printing house, in beer vats, in open car workshops, in places where people stay, and where you cannot spray a cleaning substance.
Anyone who has ever painted elements of agricultural machinery, vehicles, or elements requiring a high-quality coating knows perfectly well how important it is to carefully prepare the surface. Leaving rust in the nooks and crannies means that after a short time, paint defects will appear on the surface.
The Grawostar laser can be used to carefully prepare metal elements (and not only). This speeds up the repair and painting process and increases the quality of the paint coating and its durability.
Grawostar is also a device that prepares coatings for professional welding, cleaning injection molds, repairing vehicle chassis, removing paint, cleaning lathes and milling tools, removing stains, oxides, and oil!
Unique Pulse Keying System
The Grawostar cleaning laser method involves generating a short laser beam pulse, the frequency of which is from 10 to 800 thousand pulses per second – (depending on the light source used). The beam hitting the corroded surface is absorbed by the contamination. As a result of the laser absorption by the contamination, plasma is created, which causes the contamination to almost completely evaporate.
Grawostar lasers have many options that distinguish them from cheap substitutes, which is why they clean more effectively and efficiently (while using the same power).
The selection of the type of light source, its frequency, wavelength, and modulation type is key in the process of adapting the system to the customer’s expectations.
The most universal are devices equipped with the MFMDC system (Modified frequency, modified duty cycle), which allows for the regulation of many processing parameters and works with very sensitive coatings.
The Grawostar Laser Cleaner MFMDC also removes graffiti from walls thanks to the pulse fill keying system in time!
How to choose a laser source
The factors that influence the selection of the appropriate laser source depend on the specific application and may include:
- Power: The required laser power depends on the type and scale of the application. For example, lower power is required for laboratory applications, while higher power is needed for metalworking.
- Spectral characteristics: Laser sources can emit light at a variety of wavelengths, and the choice of laser source depends on the spectral characteristics of the material to be machined.
- Pulse duration: The pulse duration is important for some applications, such as laser scanning, where a short pulse is required to precisely scan a surface.
- Mode of operation: Some applications require a continuous laser beam, while others require pulsed operation.
- Safety requirements: Appropriate safety regulations, such as power limits, must be followed when working with lasers.
MFMDC modulation
Grawostar Laser Cleaner MFMDC reduces pollution created in the material cleaning process thanks to modern light modulation technology.
However, remember that every pollution removal process must produce industrial waste, and in this case these pollutants are mostly in the form of smoke, which must be removed. For this purpose, you can use any of the TBH exhausters selected for removing pollution in the laser cleaning process.
Laser light of the appropriate wavelength is strong and very focused, so you need to protect yourself appropriately during work. The solution to the problem is safety glasses and electronic shutters – in the case of long-term work. Please remember this (!).
As one of the few entities on the market, we provide you with a selection of legal, CE-certified safety glasses. These glasses meet the requirements of the National Labor Inspectorate and other inspection institutions.
We select the glasses for you free of charge. The laser beam is invisible to humans. During the work you only see the effect of combustion. Standard welding glasses do not protect your eyesight when working with a laser!
Attention! There are counterfeit and illegal safety glasses on the market! Using such a product can result in serious injury!
Originality and legality
Our company is a manufacturer of laser devices, the exclusive distributor of Grawostar devices and a technical service. We have been on the market since 1993. We encourage you to read the “About us” tab.
We can design and manufacture machines for your desired purpose so they can operate according to specific requirements.
We provide the possibility of purchasing a device on lease or credit – we cooperate with many recognized leasing companies.
We supply only original products.
Dear Sirs, please read the “counterfeit lasers” tab, where we describe the procedure of replacing laser sources with cheaper ones and “repainting them”. Unfortunately, some customers are guided by price alone when choosing a device – we do not repair such lasers.
Cleaning lasers containing substituted sources remove only 30% of contamination, and their service life is 1-2 years instead of the expected 25 years!
Powerful argon-free laser
The Grawostar Cleaner CL200G model has a special design that eliminates the use and application of argon.
The system has a head cooled and protected by atmospheric air and is one of the few that does not generate additional costs.
The device itself is air-cooled, making it lightweight, operates at higher maximum temperatures compared to heavier liquid-cooled machines and is very mobile.
The simple but innovative design of the head allows the use of a standard 5m optical fiber (maximum 10 meters).
The flexible optical fiber allows access to places far away from the laser light generator.
