Recently, we have been receiving information from customers who, guided solely by price, purchased a cheaper laser on an officially “original” light source, e.g. Raycus. The procedure of repainting lasers intended for disposal is known to professionals and unfortunately, many customers have been harmed by dishonest sellers of laser devices. Because you, as customers, are unable to distinguish an original laser source from a counterfeit one, we warn you that by being guided solely by the price of the device, you increase the probability of losing your entire investment.
Repainted laser sources often do not have the power specified in the specification, have a short lifespan (ten times shorter), and are often purchased for $100 instead of several thousand dollars (because they are worth that much). The procedure of repainting sources is described on the Internet. Not only rejected sources are repainted, but also cheap and damaged sources from other companies, to mislead the customer. A laser with a repainted source is usually a few thousand zlotys cheaper and in the eyes of the customer is a tasty morsel – an opportunity to buy.
The quality of the paint coating is very high, at the time of purchase you will not recognize the original and the fake. Whole organized groups of “authorized” traders earn on this dishonest business. On the website http://www.laserscams.com you will find an example of repainting a cheap Chinese Max source

After being opened, repainted sources often have information about failures, reduced power, and when measured, they do not maintain the appropriate light beam parameters.
On the photo: A note inside a cheap, repainted source with information about too low power (21 Watts) instead of 30W and about rejection by quality control. This laser was sold cheaper as an original Raycus, a pure fraudster’s profit of about: $2000.
Therefore, we kindly inform you that products purchased in Europe outside the Grawostar Laserman brand do not have access to our service, spare parts packages, nor are they covered by any sales authorization from the factory that produces them. To put it bluntly – we cannot help you in any way if the device was manufactured from electronic waste and does not have our service number (rating plate), because it was not purchased in the official distribution channel. Since many customers believe that the price works miracles – we kindly inform you: we only sell original devices. Our prices are adequate to the quality – attractive, but only when compared to original products.
If you find something significantly cheaper on the market, it is only up to you to assess the situation whether you buy the original or a counterfeit. A laser with a repainted source is usually several thousand zlotys cheaper. It is worth remembering that nothing comes for free these days, and the very fact that the sales price is lower than the price of purchase from the factory should give you a lot to think about. We will not be able to help you with access to spare parts or with technical support. We know from experience that lack of access to service often ends with throwing away the device.
Of course, you can buy a new laser source … but there is no economy and no sense in it. It is worth mentioning an important and well-known rule:

Verification of the originality of the product can be carried out by calling the number in Poland: +48 605 061 913, but remember that the procedure of removing the coating and testing the source is possible, but unfortunately expensive. It is also likely that it will not be easy to recover the money spent by people and companies selling counterfeit systems. Therefore, please choose the device wisely.
